β³ Overall
Key terms being used in various areas of your analysis
β
π΅ Strokes Gained - A way of analysing a playerβs performance level comparing every aspect of their game with other players within a particular dataset (such as PGA, LPGA).
β
π’ In Play - A βgood driveβ landing in the Fairway/Semi rough. Greenside if attempting to drive a short par 4
β
π’ Minor - A clean shot to the green, but where lie e.g rough/sand gives a slight disadvantage from being in the fairway
β
π‘ Major - An area from where you canβt hit a normal shot because of trees/bunker lip or very thick rough
β
π΄ Penalty 1 - Ball landing into a water hazard and taking a drop or if chipping out completely sideways in effect a penalty of 1 shot
β
π΄ Penalty 2 - Lost Ball or OB - back where you hit the last shot from
β
π’ Green - Where the ball finishes on the green
β
π’ Easy - A simple short game shot where you'd expect to get the ball inside 5ft. A putt from off the green, standard chip shot from the fairway of semi rough. Bunker shots would not fall into this category.
β
π‘ Medium - Where there is no significant issue with the lie or required shot and expect to get the ball inside 8-10ft. A standard bunker shot, a short pitch from the fairway or the rough.
β
π΄ Hard - A difficult shot where inside 15ft would be a good shot. Short sided lob shot, long range bunker shot or a very poor lie around the green impeding the shot.
β
π΅ Safe zone (SZ) - SZ Past is a putt that finishes within 2ft past the hole. SZ short is a putt that finishes within 2ft short of the hole.

β³ Tee Analysis
π΅ Tee Dispersion - Your dispersion pattern off the tee
β
π΅ Tee End Result - Your unique end result off the tee. The fewer major or penalty misses the less chance of doubles or worse.
β
β³ Approach Analysis
π΅ Strokes Gained vs Distance - Average Strokes gained per round in each 25Y distance increment. Look to see what distance ranges you have the most shots from and how your strokes gained is in this window. Head to the dispersion image and filter to your desired distance range to understand your shot pattern and themes to any misses.
β
π΅ Footage vs Distance - How far you average from the pin from each distance range. The lower the footage the better chance of good scoring - compare your average footage vs the pin against your target pin on the next slide. If you are hitting the ball close to your target but far from the pin this could imply you are too conservative.
β
π΅ Target Footage vs Distance - How far you average from your intended target from each distance range
β
π΅ End Result vs Distance - The type of misses you have had from each distance range. Seeing a high number of hard misses confirms you are leaving approach shots in difficult places which will increase scoring - use the dispersion image and filter to your desired distance range to understand the theme to your shot pattern.
β
π΅ Approach Dispersion - Your approach dispersion pattern vs the actual pin and your intended target (pro only)
β³ Short Game Analysis
π΅ Short Game Dispersion - Your dispersion pattern of all short game shots
β
π΅ Breakdown vs Pin - A breakdown of the % of shots inside 15ft and how many finished outside 15ft. The more shots that are finishing outside of 9ft the less likely of an up and down. Take a look at different shots from different lies to identify strengths or weaknesses.
β
β³ Putting
π΅ Strokes Gained vs Distance - Average Strokes gained per round across each distance range. A loss in strokes from short range suggests low conversion vs a loss of strokes from mid-long range suggests poor speed. Head to both the conversion and speed control graphs to correlate.
π΅ Speed vs Distance - Your speed control across each distance range. A high number outside of the safe zone (2ft) will increase the risk of a 3 putt. Look for themes in your speed whether you leave putts short or are too aggressive.
β
π΅ Conversion % - Your conversion rate across each distance range
π΅ 3 Putt % - How many times you have 3 putted across each distance range. Head to the speed vs distance or strokes gained graphs to understand if your 3 putt is coming from poor speed control or misses from short range.
π΅ Direction - Your data on different break of putts
π΅ Speed Control - An overall look at your speed control
